Write Your Final Journal Entry – What You Have Learned During This ChallengeToday is the last day of the walking challenge. Our intention with this Walking Challenge is to allow the nature of moving your body well to help you get in better shape and, therefore, better health. Today’s topic is Your Final Walking Challenge Tip - Write What You Have Learned This Month Daily walking has been a part of my fitness practice for the past few years, and we simply find it one of the best ways to get out in nature, enjoy the neighbourhood while we move well. How has the walking challenge been going so far? “Thoughts come clearly while one walks” – Thomas Mann What we know for sure is that walking is the link to living a healthy and vibrant life. We believe walking inspires the mind, activates the body, and nourishes the soul. Here is what your walk will be like today: Your Walk Today: You are going to push yourself today with a 45 Minute Walk Today’s Tip: Write Your Final Journal Entry – What You Have Learned During This Challenge By now, you are an expert in journaling AND walking. Today’s journal entry is going to be super easy, and we recommend writing it after your 45-minute walk of the challenge. This walking challenge was designed for beginners who either are out of shape or are new to walking for exercise. It went slow because we wanted it to be appropriate for everyone, no matter their fitness level. In just 3 weeks, you went from walking 15 minutes a day to 45 minutes a day! That is amazing progress, and no matter where you go from here, you must be very proud. For today’s journal entry, write about what you learned throughout this walking challenge. This might be something you learned about walking, about your habits or practices, about your ability (or struggles) sticking to a challenge, your mindset and anything you learned about yourself.
Enjoy today’s 45-minute walk, then come home and write your final journal entry! We appreciate that it never seems as if there are enough hours in the day, but it is so important to make a conscious decision to practice moving well, and we believe that walking is the most accessible form of exercise on the planet. Taking care of your mind, body and emotional needs will help you be able to live your best life. You are your best advocate; if you are not moving well each day, it is easy to get burned out by all of life's demands. Taking some time each day for yourself to get outside and walk can have a profound impact on your well-being. Physical fitness and moving well begin and ends with you!
